Conducting a youth entrepreneur workshop, I introduced nearly 50 youth to American Business Ownership Development. What is worthy of mention is that when I began talking about the Constitution the group became very quiet and attentive. These were youth between ages 12 and 18. What I shared and what seemed to get their attention was that, “If the Revolutionary War was won by the British we would probably be still carting cargo by mule or horse. There would still be slavery and oppression. There would be no high technology like computers, cellphones, etc. There would be no cars or airplanes.” I said, “In fact, I would not be here having this conversation because we wouldn’t have the freedom to do so.”
Something was sparked in these youth. I believe the adults present felt it too. We must be grateful. Just a short 200 plus years ago there was a turning point in the earth’s history that freed the spirit of all mankind and spurred the greatest progress in modern times. America’s Founding Fathers and early pioneers dared to be obedient to God’s Law, putting God first and allowing people from all over the world the freedom to create and prosper for the benefit of all mankind and the earth. America is the birthplace of that Freedom.
Dare to create and prosper so that all others may see the blessing of our God-given Freedom. It is our Divine Right and Obligation to Life.
